Service Line Endorsement

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE LINE ENDORSEMENT?

Home Guard Service Line Endorsement and Service Line Coverage for farm property (coverage applies to the dwelling only, not to lines servicing farm outbuildings ) provides up to $10,000 coverage, including excavation costs, for a service line failure to a covered service line for physical damage.

• What is Service Line Failure?

  • Service line failure means a leak, break, tear, rupture, collapse or arcing of a covered service line. Service line failure does not include blockage or low pressure or a covered service line. Some exclusions apply.

• What is considered Physical Damage to a service line?

  • Physical damage includes breakage, tearing, rupturing, collapsing, etc. to the underground piping and wiring, such as water piping, sewer piping ground, loop piping , and power line or wiring located on the residence premises that provides service to the dwelling or other structures. To qualify for claim reimbursement, premises must be owned by you or you must be considered legally liable for its repair.
